Accounting Manager (47236) - Cabuyao Laguna

Salary: 60,000 - 100,000

QUALIFICATIONS:
・Bachelor's degree holder
・Comprehensive knowledge & experience in accounting and finance.
・Experience as an Accounting Supervisor or in a higher position
・Strong communication skills in English.
・CPA holder is highly preferred.
・Experience working in the banking industry is an advantage.
・Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus

Job Description:
・Prepare Monthly Reports and End-of-Month Financial Statements
Prepare monthly reports based on accounting data and close the financial statements at the end of each month.
・Confirm Payments and Collections
Manage daily payment and collection activities, check payment status with vendors, and monitor customer payments. Ensure timely processing to manage cash flow.
・Tax-Related Tasks and Coordination with a Japanese Accountant
Handle tax filings and payments, and work closely with a Japanese accountant to confirm tax procedures and necessary actions. Stay updated with tax-related law changes.
・Prepare Balance Sheets or Collect Data for Preparation
Collect necessary data and work with other departments to prepare accurate balance sheets.
・Communication with the Japanese Owner (Explanation and Responding to Questions)
Respond to questions and requests from the Japanese owner regarding monthly reports and financial statements, providing explanations and supporting decision-making.
・Communication with the Owner’s Wife
Handle administrative tasks related to accounting and communicate regularly with the owner’s wife by phone.
・Collaboration with Existing Accounting Staff, and Possible Management of Outsourced Services
Work with the accounting staff, provide support and guidance as needed. Also, coordinate with external service providers as some tasks are outsourced.
