Job Description
Work Location: Makati
Salary Range: ₱55,000 – ₱60,000
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Job Summary:
The Materials & Logistics Manager oversees the entire supply chain, including purchasing, importation, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management. The role ensures efficiency in delivery planning, regulatory compliance, and supplier relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any business course.
At least 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager.
Experience in the importation process is preferred.
Must have worked in an ERP environment.
Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
High proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Supplier Management: Negotiates and manages contracts with local suppliers, including canvassing and awarding.
Importation Management: Oversees import/export activities, ensuring smooth customs clearance.
Warehouse & Delivery Planning: Plans and manages incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Inventory Management: Ensures proper storage, organization, and accuracy of inventory records.
Insurance Claims: Handles processing and submission of insurance claims.
Team Management: Manages a team of 40 employees (Purchasing: 9, Delivery & Warehouse: 31), providing training and development.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensures all logistics operations comply with safety and organizational regulations.
Budgeting: Plans and analyzes Capital Expenditures (CapEx) and Operating Expenses (OpEx) for the department.
Auditing & Compliance: Reviews financial policies and ensures company actions align with regulatory standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
