Job Description
Perform independently as a subject matter expert (SME).
Actively participate and contribute to team discussions and problem-solving.
Lead the team in application design, development, and configuration.
Coordinate project activities, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in application development.
Troubleshoot performance, configuration, and installation-related issues.
Collaborate with IBM for product-related inquiries, concerns, or issues.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Expertise in installing, uninstalling, and configuring IBM InfoSphere DataStage client and server (Windows and Linux).
Experience with installing DataStage application patches/upgrades.
Proficiency in migrating DataStage objects across environments (development, staging, production).
Strong skills in performance tuning/configuration of applications.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance and configuration issues.
Experience in managing DataStage users, roles, and groups.
Basic knowledge of Unix and scripting.
Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
Strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
Experience designing and implementing data solutions.
Solid knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
Additional Information:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
This position is based at our Manila office.
