preferably 38 yo and above
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or services is an advantage.
Strong understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and tax regulations.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Excel).
Good knowledge of internal controls and audit procedures.
Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in financial reporting.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external parties like auditors or tax authorities.

Job Description:
Supervise Accounting Team:
Manage and guide junior accountants, accounting assistants, and other team members.
Allocate tasks, review their work, and provide mentorship and support.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to enhance team efficiency.
Financial Reporting:
Ensure the preparation of accurate financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Ensure reports are submitted in compliance with the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
General Ledger Management:
Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Monitor journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments.
Resolve discrepancies in accounts and initiate necessary corrective actions.
Audit and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with tax laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors during audits, providing required documentation and explanations.
Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and accounting standards.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Analyze variances between budgeted and actual figures and report to senior management.

Tax Compliance:

System Management:

Recommend system improvements or upgrades to enhance the department’s efficiency.
