Job Description

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Customs
Proven experience in customs brokerage or trade compliance.
Strong knowledge of customs regulations and tariff classifications.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in customs clearance software and documentation systems.
Certification in customs brokerage is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
Prepare and review import/export documentation for accuracy.
Classify goods according to tariff codes and applicable duties.
Liaise with customs officials to resolve clearance issues.
Monitor changes in customs regulations and update internal policies.
Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping companies.
Advise internal teams on customs procedures and best practices.
Develop strategies to optimize customs clearance and reduce costs.
