Construction Laborer

Prepare and clean work sites: Remove debris, dig trenches, and compact earth
Load and unload materials: Move materials to working areas, and ensure materials are available when needed
Operate machinery: Use heavy equipment, like excavators, and hand tools, like shovels and picks
Build and take down structures: Construct scaffolding and temporary structures, and erect and remove shoring and bracing
Maintain equipment: Perform general maintenance on construction tools and equipment
Follow instructions: Follow instructions from supervisors and implement construction plans
Assist other workers: Help skilled tradespeople with their duties
Maintain safety standards: Follow safety standards and procedures
