Job Description
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers.
Ensure production schedules are met and products are manufactured to quality standards.
Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Train and develop production staff.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues.
Monitor and control production costs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Prepare and maintain production reports and records.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Manage inventory levels and order materials as needed.
Coordinate maintenance and repair of production equipment.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Lead daily production meetings.
Develop and implement production schedules.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of production processes and quality control standards.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
Ability to analyze production data and generate reports.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain principles.
