Job Description
- Lead legacy modernization projects, focusing on migration to modern platforms.
- Address challenges in data conversion, performance tuning, and legacy system integration.
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and modernization standards.
- Motivate and mentor the development team, ensuring effective communication, task delegation, and collaboration across members.
What’s Needed:
- Strong expertise in IBM COBOL.
- 2+ years of experience in development and maintenance for mainframe and distributed applications.
- Proven problem-solving skills and leadership capabilities.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of legacy and modern programming languages (Assembler, PL1, Easytrieve, Java, Spring, Python).
- Exposure to cloud technologies, serverless migration, and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and Waterfall frameworks.
