Sales Manager

Basic Functions
To be responsible for total revenue development through sourcing, securing and maximizing all sales opportunities.
Key Result Areas
1. Deliver annual revenue targets and maximize revenue opportunities
• Responsible for the strategic direction and operation of the Sales Department
• Prepare and formulate an annual sales & marketing plan (collaboration with Marketing Head)
• Develops and implement a measurable results system for each member of the sales team.
• Responsible for achieving target budgets for Marquis as laid out in the Marketing Plan.
• Special focus on socials and business development.
• Participates in the preparation of the Strategic Business and Operating Plans.
• Prepares monthly outlook/forecast reports.
• Grow Marquis catering business.
2. Maintain effective organizational structure, high productivity and development of staff.
3. Builds the Marquis brand through quality of sales service and delivery in all aspects of sales communication and inter-action with external & internal customers.
4. Maintains an effective system for Sales Operations and Guest Services, to include Revenue Management and Customer Data Information.
5. Maintains Sales expenses within agreed budget or as specified % of revenue.
6. Contributes to service and product development through research, market trends or customer needs.
Experience in Catering and Hotel industry an advantage.
