IT Specialist (Laguna office) - Hybrid

Critical Work Responsibilities:
The Information System Specialist leads important projects and possesses capability to make breakthroughs in design, development, testing, debugging and implementation of business systems or specialized utility programs in support of end users' needs on platforms
Facilitates requirements gathering workshops/discussions and assess, challenge, and document the business requirements
Plans and coordinates regular updates and recommends improvements to existing applications
Identifies and resolves issues which have distribution wide and long-term impact
Review system access to identify potential risk of end users committing business fraud .
Ensure system deployment passed IT security checklist.
Provides application maintenance support, taking care of concerns and errors encountered by end-users; doing the necessary analysis and investigation and finding/applying permanent or workaround solutions which may require changes in system configuration or deployment of interim processes
Performs functional testing to validate that system changes and/or enhancements are aligned to functional/business requirements as well as carry out integration testing to ensure no functionality gets broken or impacted upon deployment to production environment
Responsible for preparing and maintaining required documentation, including, but not limited to functional specification documentation, business procedures, quick reference guides, user manuals and other supporting documentation required by the change management process
Develops and maintains the software configuration management plan and oversees the building, verification, and implementation of software releases. Provides guidance and technical support to the quality testing teams.
Comes up with innovative solutions of high value and impact to the organization
Job, Skills and Competencies Requirements
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Business Studies/Administration/Management or a related discipline
2+ years hands-on experience on business systems (e.g. ERP, HCM, CRM), EDI interfaces, Java based or .NET development works, delivery of architecture and solution design
Experience on project and operational support environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as customer service skills
Experience and/or exposure to SAP or equivalent enterprise applications is a plus
Able to take ownership of assignments and provide workable solutions
Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
Project management experience is preferred but is not strictly required
