•Operation of STP systems: Operate, monitor, and maintain sewage treatment equipment, including pumps, valves, tanks, and motors, to ensure effective wastewater treatment.
•Monitor plant performance: Regularly inspect, monitor, and adjust plant processes, ensuring proper chemical dosing, sludge management, and flow regulation.
•Maintenance and troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to plant equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report major malfunctions for repair.
•Sampling and testing: Conduct water quality tests, including pH, BOD (biochemical oxygen demand), COD (chemical oxygen demand), and other related tests to ensure regulatory compliance.
•Record keeping: Maintain accurate logs and records of operational data, maintenance activities, water quality test results, and any other relevant documentation.
•Safety and compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures, policies, and environmental guidelines, ensuring the STP operates within the required environmental regulations.
•Effluent monitoring: Ensure treated effluent meets quality standards before discharge, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
•Report generation: Prepare regular reports on plant operations, issues, and performance for management.
•Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance teams, environmental staff, and management to optimize plant performance and resolve any operational issues
