Networks & Security Engineer/Administrator (Junior-Senior Level)

Qualifications – Network and Security Administrator

Educational Background:
-- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field.
-- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Fortinet NSE) are a plus.

Work Experience:
-- At least 3–5 years of experience in network and security administration.
-- Proven experience in managing and securing enterprise-level networks and IT infrastructures.

Technical Skills:
-- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
-- Experience with network security tools and appliances, including firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security, and email security solutions.
-- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining network hardware such as routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
-- Knowledge of security protocols, authentication mechanisms, and encryption technologies.
-- Experience in managing Microsoft and Linux-based servers, virtualization technologies, and cloud security best practices.
-- Familiarity with enterprise software applications such as ERP, POS systems, and remote access solutions.
-- Experience in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.

Soft Skills:

-- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
