Job Description

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or equivalent.
Certified Public Accountant or Non CPA is welcome.
At least 3 to 5 years of total experience in areas of Accounting; and at least 1 year of experience in handling accounting for bank reconciliation; and at least 2 years of experience handling a team with at least 5 members; and at least 1 year experience from auditing firms
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and principles
Knowledge in government regulations and laws applicable to accounting
Project management skills
Excellent skills in financial reporting for both statutory and management
Financial review and analysis skills
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to explain and discuss financial data with team members and various users of information.
Good leadership, management and mentoring skills
Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervises, reviews, and analyzes reports and account schedules submitted by staff to ensure validity and correctness of journal entries.
2. Oversees the system of internal controls over accounting functions to minimize risk.
3. Oversees the preparation of periodic financial statements and the corporate annual report.
4. Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations
5. Ensures that financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
6. Coordinates the preparation of the corporate tax return.
7. Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
8. Complies with local government requirements.
9. Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures.
10. Participate in regular tax audits and payroll
11. Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
12. Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets
13. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Salary:
