Job Description
Use code reviews as additional verification to make sure the program is free of typical coding flaws by adhering to security coding principles.
Inform the technical architect and project manager of any difficulties that may impact the project.
Take part in the transfer of technical architecture or application components to the testers.
Resolve any issues with performance and flaws found during testing.
To make maintenance easier, document the application. Building and Managing Client Relationships
From analysis and design implementation to quality assurance (including testing) and delivery and maintenance of the software product or system, or for a particular stage of the lifecycle, design, create, and configure software systems to satisfy market and/or client requirements.
Conduct component and unit testing.
Take part in the integration testing process.
During UAT, offer assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Design and Customization
Customizing SAP Modules: Modify and configure various SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI, SAP MM, SAP SD) based on business requirements.
Blueprint Design: Participate in the gathering of business requirements and the creation of functional specifications for system design.
Custom Code Development: Develop custom programs and applications to meet specific business processes that are not covered by standard SAP functionalities.
2. Development and Coding
ABAP Development: Write custom code using ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming), the primary language for SAP programming.
UI Development: Develop custom user interfaces (UIs) using technologies such as SAP Fiori, Web Dynpro, or SAPUI5.
Enhancements and BADI: Implement custom enhancements and Business Add-Ins (BADI) to extend the standard functionality of SAP.
Report Creation: Design and develop custom reports (e.g., ALV reports) to meet specific user requirements.
3. System Integration
Integration with Other Systems: Ensure smooth integration of SAP with other business systems (e.g., third-party systems, legacy applications) using technologies such as SAP PI/PO, IDocs, or API calls.
Data Migration: Assist with data migration from legacy systems to SAP using tools like LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) or SAP Data Services.
4. Testing and Debugging
Unit Testing: Conduct thorough unit testing of custom developments to ensure the code works as expected.
System Testing: Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues, bugs, or performance problems in the SAP environment.
5. Documentation
Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation for custom developments, including system configurations, code, and implementation processes.
User Guides: Create user manuals or guides to help end-users understand and use the developed solutions.
