For almost 40 years, our company has been manning Cape and Panamax sizes, Bulk, Woodchip, General Cargo, Log Carrier, Container, Reefer vessels. Orophil Shipping takes pride in developing its own products of maritime graduates from the Visayan Maritime Academy (VMA) Global College and Training Center in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. The VMA Global College, and Training Center have fully complied with the provisions on maritime education and training as per standards and guidelines of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), MLC, SOLAS, MARPOL and STCW, as amended. In achieving continuous growth on education and training, the company is equipped with Computer-Based Training Programs with its assessment in competency to assure all seafarers are mentally prepared and refreshed before joining the ships. In its quest to be globally competitive, the company has been certified with ISO 9001: 2015 by the CLASS NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) and RvA (Raad voor Accreditatie) by the Netherlands, and MLC certificate of Seafarer Requirement and Placement Service Providers for its standardized processes.

Job Description

-Participates in the development and implementation of the Human Resource Strategic Plan.
-Participates in strategic planning including service planning, human resource planning and budget preparation activities.
-Generates transition plans and set priorities to facilitate organizational realignment, where required, including consultations with staff and other groups.
-Ensures all necessary human resource policies, programs, and procedures are developed and implemented in accordance with relevant legislation and best human resources practices.
-Ensures the appropriate maintenance and security of Human Resources Employee data including the integrity of data.
-Develops, implements, and maintains appropriate job descriptions and job evaluation.
-Provides legal expertise, support, and advice to all organizational levels on matters related to the Labor code of the Philippines and labor relations practices.
-Manages the administration of the grievance and grievance resolution process.
-Develops, implements, and manages effective procedures for employee orientation and initial training.
-Assists in and contributes to the development and administration of the staff training budget.
-Oversees, develops, and implements the recruitment and selection process ensuring effective procedures for acquisition and retention of qualified candidates.
-Facilitates POEA Reportorial of staff engagement and disengagement.
-Drafting and assistance of Contracts, Affidavits, Corporate Board Resolutions and Secretary's Certificate & other Legal Documents.
-Monitors all legal correspondence, reviews and updates of ongoing cases; and gives feedback to the president.
Salary:
20.000,00 ₱ Monthly
