GEMECO is one of the leading CAN manufacturers in the Philippines. The company was founded in 1954 as a small canning factory that eventually grew into one of the largest in the country. The company's main plant is on a four-hectare property in Novaliches, Quezon City and it operates satellite factories in Cebu and Zamboanga. GEMECO has the fastest CAN manufacturing line in the country and is capable of producing easy-open ends. It boasts of very modern metal lithography lines and in-house plate-making facilities. It also has a very well equipped machine shop that serves its tooling needs. In line with its commitment to meet or exceed customer's expectations, GEMECO has a continuous training program for its workforce of six hundred workers. It's highly skilled staff has decades of experience in CAN manufacturing. To enhance its services to its customers, GEMECO also provides technical assistance, overhauling of CAN closure machines, parts fabrication and consultancy services in food canning.

GEMECO is a packaging company engaged in the manufacture of tin cans for infant dietetics, beverages, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, and other food products.

Our customers include Angel Milk, Alaska Milk, 555 Sardines, Argentina Corned Beef, Century Tuna, Ligo Sardines, Purefoods Hormel - San Miguel, Swift, Virginia Foods, and Youngstown.

Responsibilities:
Ensure quality production output and meet customer requirements.
Improve departmental performance.
Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues.
Initiate and oversee continuous improvement projects.
Drive cost reduction programs.
Collaborate with various production departments.
Implement departmental procedures and policies.
Lead team members and staff.
Create weekly and monthly production reports.

Requirements:
Candidate must be a graduate of any Engineering course, with at least 5 years of experience.
Strong leadership abilities.
Experience in managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
Positive work attitude, trainable, flexible, and hands-on.
A team player with good interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Proficient in computer applications.
Knowledge of ISO, HACCP, FSMS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing is an advantage.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Schedule:
12-hour shifts (Day and Night shifts available).
