Duties & Responsibilities
The following outlines the primary duties and responsibilities of a Mechanical Leadman. These are not exhaustive but cover key expectations:

-Visual Evaluation: Performs visual inspections of motors and generators to assess their condition.
-Dismantling and Assembly: Disassembles and reassembles motors and generators as needed.
-Parts Assessment: Evaluates worn or missing parts of dismantled units and reports findings to the Production Supervisor.
-Equipment Modification: Conducts modifications to equipment as directed by the supervisor to enhance performance or adapt to operational requirements.
-Checklist Preparation: Prepares mechanical checklists for submission to the Production Supervisor.
-Reconditioning: Repairs and reconditions motors and generators to restore functionality.
-Crew Supervision: Oversees and coordinates the activities of the mechanical team to ensure efficiency and quality.
-Tool Fabrication: Designs and fabricates special tools required for specific projects.
-Final Inspections: Conducts thorough checks of units prior to delivery to ensure quality standards are met.
-Part Tagging: Labels and tags all disassembled parts for easier identification and organization.
-Preservation of Parts: Ensures the proper storage and preservation of disassembled components for motors and generators.
-Client Engagement: Assists in promoting the company's services to potential and existing clients, contributing to business growth.

Qualifications
To excel as a Mechanical Leadman, the individual must meet the following qualifications:

-Educational Background: At least a high school graduate.
-Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience working with motors and generators.
-Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools, including but not limited to outside micrometers, inside micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and dial gauges.
-Drafting Knowledge: Familiarity with drafting and designing mechanical parts.
-Problem-Solving: Demonstrates resourcefulness and critical thinking skills.
-Independence: Capable of working with minimal to no supervision.
-Flexibility: Open to working extended hours and adaptable to changing work demands.
-Mobility: Willing to accept assignments in various locations.
-Instruction Adherence: Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently as provided by the supervisor.
-Interpersonal Skills: Possesses excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with others.
-Trainability: Quick learner who is open to further training and skill development.
