Senior Accounts Payable Japanese Speaker

Responsibilities:
-Review and verify invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for Japan-based vendors regarding payment issues, inquiries, and account reconciliations.
-Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding payment issues.
-Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and correspondence.
-Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable process.

Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
-Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Japanese, including Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji, is required
-Good English communication skills, both written and oral
-Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable or accounting experience preferred
-Experience working in a BPO/Shared Services Organization is a plus
-Strong attention to details
-Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly in Excel
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Exceptional determination, self-motivation and interpersonal skills
-Team player

Additional Notes:
This position will be working with an international law firm that serves companies, governments and financial institutions.

Working Set-up: Hybrid
Mondays to Fridays.
