Industrial Designer

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Design, Engineering (Civil), Architecture, Draftsman, Information Technology or equivalent.
-At least 3 to 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Proven work experience as a 2D Graphic Designer or Tech Draw Artist or similar role.
-Possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
-Ability to provide instructions written and orally.
-Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is required
-Knowledge in Sketch UP, Corel Draw, AutoCAD is a plus
-Available to work ASAP
-Willing to work onsite

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Should be comfortable both in 2D Designs and day-to-day production design work.
-Create multimedia related work (digital design, print etc.)
-Provide daily progress of the multimedia design.
-Provide work estimates.
-Attends online meeting with account executives to determine design requirements.
-Sketch out ideas or create renderings, which are images on paper or on a computer that provide a better visual of design ideas.
-Use computer software to develop virtual models of different designs.
-Create physical prototypes of their designs.
-Examine materials and production costs to determine manufacturing requirements.
-Work with other departments to evaluate whether their design concepts will fill a need at a reasonable cost.
-Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical.
