Job Description
a. Assist in creating and editing multimedia content (videos, graphics, images, and text) for different media
platforms.
b. Help with writing and editing press releases, blog posts, and social media updates.
c. Format content for online publishing, ensuring it meets platform specifications.
2. Media Monitoring
a. Track and monitor media coverage, including news outlets, blogs, social media mentions, and competitor
activity.
b. Prepare daily/weekly reports on media mentions and trends.
3. Social Media Management
a. Assist with managing social media accounts (posting, scheduling, and responding to comments).
b. Help analyze social media performance using analytics tools and provide feedback on engagement strategies.
4. Research
a. Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience preferences to assist the team
in planning media campaigns.
b. Gather data and insights to support media planning and buying decisions.
5. Administrative Tasks
a. Manage media contacts, update databases, and maintain records.
b. Schedule meetings and appointments for the media team.
c. Handle communication with external vendors, clients, and partners.
6. Reporting and Analytics
a. Assist in compiling campaign performance reports, providing insights based on metrics such as reach,
impressions, and engagement.
b. Help analyze and optimize ongoing media campaigns.
7. Technical Support
a. Assist with technical aspects of media, including managing multimedia files, troubleshooting software, and
using media management tools.
8. Collaboration
a. Work closely with the marketing, communications, and creative teams to align media efforts with broader
organizational goals.
b. Communicate with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media professionals as needed.
