Automation Engineer (Rosario Cavite)

Key Responsibilities:
 Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement automated systems and
processes for manufacturing and production lines, ensuring they meet quality standards and
improve efficiency.
 Programming: Create and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs, HMI
(Human-Machine Interface) configurations, and other automation software for various
equipment and machinery.
 Multi-Axis Robots & Pneumatics: Design and integrate multi-axis robotic systems and
pneumatic components into production processes, ensuring optimal performance and
reliability.
 System Integration: Integrate automated systems with existing production equipment,
ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
 Process Optimization: Analyze current production processes, identify areas for
improvement, and implement automation solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste,
and lower operational costs.
 Global Collaboration: Work closely with automation colleagues in Europe and Canada to
align automation strategies, share best practices, and ensure consistency across global
operations.
 Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on automation systems
and troubleshoot any issues that arise to minimize production disruptions.
 Collaboration: Work closely with the production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure
automation systems align with overall manufacturing goals and quality standards.
 Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for automated systems,
including schematics, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
 Training: Provide training and support to production staff on the operation and maintenance
of automated systems.

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, or a related field.
 Proven experience in designing and implementing automated systems in a manufacturing
environment.
 Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and automation software.
 Strong understanding of multi-axis robotic systems, pneumatics, industrial control systems,
sensors, actuators, and robotics.
 Experience with CAD software for designing automated systems.
 Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to automation.
 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
 Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
 Knowledge of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and smart manufacturing technologies.
