Job Description
1. Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll.
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and forecasts.
4. Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and procedures.
5. Manage budgeting and financial planning processes.
6. Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
7. Provide guidance and mentorship to the accounting team to enhance their skills and performance.
8. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and QB).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
