Java DevOps Engineer

- Hands-on experience with SpringBoot is advantageous but not required.
- Experience with cloud and containerization technologies is advantageous but not required (Dockers or Kubernetes) (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Java 8+ (Knowledge on Java 11)
- Experience in automated unit and integration testing
- Experience working with SQL and JPA
- Demonstrable ability to break down problems and solve them systematically
- REST services design & implementation, and microservices architecture
- Excellent understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts such as auto-scaling
- Strong understanding of Docker and containerization
- Demonstrated experience with Linux and Bash scripting
- Demonstrated understanding of build tools (Maven, Gradle, NPM, etc.)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, including security and release patterns
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (BitBucket Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Demonstrable ability to influence and engage with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrable ability to break down problems and solve them systematically
- Basic knowledge of scripting language (such as python or Unix/Shell) is advantageous but not required
- Continuous deployment and delivery (CI/CD) tools
- Spark, Camel and/or Akka
- Solr or Elasticsearch
- Cassandra or other non-relational databases
