Job Description

Reports directly to: Credit Relationship Department Manager
Job Summary: The Credit Relationship Officer reports directly to the Department Manager and is responsible in the solicitation and selling of the Bank’s loan products and in ensuring the quality of loan accounts solicited to improve loan portfolio. As a technical function, it also provides inputs to the Department Manager in reviewing and enhancing existing policies, strategies and operational procedures
in loan sales, solicitation and client retention.

Duties and responsibilities:
1. Solicits and markets loan products of the Bank to increase the Bank’s total loan portfolio.
2. Meet with loan applicants, interview to define or determine financial eligibility of granting loans and established or set up debt payments, information on specific loan needs and resolve any loan-related issues.

3. Performs duties and responsibilities as:
a.Compliance Coordinator on Marketing and Sales within assigned Branches.
(Assist the CCO in the implementation of compliance manual.
b. Assist the
CCO in dissemination of laws, regulations, rules standard and other
regulatory requirements
c. Reviews, assesses and performs compliance
testing
d. Conducts and/or monitors compliance findings

5. Provides an active advisory service
6. Develops relationships with Compliance Officers
and other Compliance Coordinators.
7. Promote best practices.
3% 5. Generates and submit reports for AMLA and BSP
3% 6. Adheres with internal control practices in the implementation of operational systems, policies, procedures and related business processes
7. Analyze active loan files on a regular basis and recommend solutions to speed up the loan process.
2% 8. Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation.
9. Prepare and process loan application (loan packaging) from its receipt until the final result is received (approved/deferred/disapproved).
2% 10. Justify decisions (approval/rejections) loan applications and explain deficiencies to applicants.
2% 11. Coordinates with loan applicants in processing the approved loan fo release
2% 12. Writing and editing loan presentation; reviewing loan documents prior for approval.
13. Prepare and complete loan contracts by obtaining signatures and notarizations of documents (e.g. SPA, Real Estate Mortgage, Chattel Mortgage, Loan Agreement)
14. Conduct and undertakes the submission of Loan Utilization Checks
(LUCs) and other deferred documents after the release of loan
2% 15. Monitor and manage repayment activities of own portfolio and update account records.
2% 16. Follow up clients payments, for insurances and loan renewals.
2% 17. Monitors and coordinates with farmer /fisherfolks re: progress of the crop from planting to harvest season, growth of aquamarine livelihood (for agri- agra loan) and status of loan purpose.
2% 18. Perform account build-up and system booking.
2% 19. Orient client prior to release on Loan Agreements, Loan Terms and Conditions, Insurances and other loan related responsibilities of the client.
2% 20. Check accuracy of daily and monthly generated Fringe Benefit (FB) Loan Accounts reports and other FB related reports.
2% 21. May perform related duties as assign or as the situation dictates.
2% 22. Participate in training sessions as assign and seek out training that will improve skills in credit analysis, documentation and sales.
2% 23. Recommends strategies in the form of new/enhanced loan policies/procedures, products and services and promotional activities in compliance with laws and regulations.
2% 24. Performs cross-selling of other Bank products and services.
Salary:
