Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Orthopedic Doctor to join our team at a diagnostic clinic. The ideal candidate will diagnose and manage musculoskeletal conditions and injuries, provide patient education, collaborate with other specialists, and issue medical certificates including sports clearance for athletes and individuals engaged in physical activities.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct consultations, assessments, and physical examinations for patients with orthopedic concerns.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions (e.g., sprains, fractures, joint issues, etc.).
• Request and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and laboratory tests.
• Issue sports clearance certificates and other fitness-related medical certificates as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
• Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when surgical or advanced treatment is necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using clinic systems.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and proper body mechanics.
• Attend clinic meetings, training, or seminars as required.
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon or with relevant post-graduate training in Orthopedics.
• Valid PRC license and updated Professional Tax Receipt (PTR).
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in orthopedic practice (preferred).
• Must be authorized and experienced in issuing sports clearance/certificates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
