A Fire Alarm Technician is a skilled professional responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in various buildings and facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety of occupants and property in case of a fire. Here's a typical job description:

Responsibilities:
• Installation: Installing new fire alarm systems, including wiring, sensors, control panels, and other components. This involves following blueprints, electrical codes, and manufacturer instructions.
• Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and testing existing fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly. This includes checking smoke detectors, heat detectors, fire suppression systems, and other equipment.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in fire alarm systems. This may involve identifying faulty components, replacing parts, and running diagnostic tests.
• Programming: Configuring and programming fire alarm systems to meet specific building requirements and safety codes. This includes setting up alarm thresholds, notification systems, and other parameters.
• Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of inspections, repairs, and system modifications.
• Customer Service: Interacting with building owners, property managers, and other stakeholders to explain system operation, address concerns, and schedule maintenance.

Qualifications:
