Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Shopify Developer, you'll transform ideas into exceptional e-commerce solutions, enhance user experiences, and optimize performance on the Shopify platform.

Responsibilities include:

Converting specifications and mock-ups into functional solutions.
Modifying and updating sites to incorporate new features and improve UI/UX design.
Developing and testing third-party Shopify applications.
Creating and customizing Shopify accounts.
Ensuring seamless integration with Shopify Apps, Marketing Tools, and APIs.
Collaborating with UI/UX design teams for innovative user experiences.
Debugging and testing websites regularly for improved performance.
Providing technical support to safeguard against failures.
Optimizing websites to increase conversion rates.
Acting as a Shopify expert with comprehensive eCommerce knowledge.

What we're looking for in a candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years of experience in Software Web Development, including 5+ years with Shopify.
Expertise in Shopify Plus and its theming system, Liquid templating, Shopify Functions and Storefront API.
Proven experience in checkout page customization, project estimation, and delivery.
Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (vanilla, ES2015/ES6), and frameworks.
Proficiency with Rest and GraphQL APIs and databases like MySQL.
Experience with responsive design and debugging tools.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience, including leading development teams, with a proven ability to drive process improvements and take ownership of projects to ensure they are completed to the highest quality. Strong communication skills in English are essential, along with a collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and attention to detail when implementing designs and creative visions.
