Job Description
• Conducts daily and weekly meetings with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to review activities, activities, and schedules
• Oversees day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, sales floor staffing, department supervision, and merchandising
• Assists the Store Manager in hiring, training, and evaluating store managers and assistant store managers
• Encourages and supports store staff in meeting sales, customer service, and stocking objectives
• Ensures smooth store flow, orderliness, and cleanliness
• Creates a positive store image through adherence to company policies and standards
• Has excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and people skills
• Able to handle pressure and maintain composure, especially during stressful situations
• Develop, implement, and manage a sales, marketing, and merchandising strategy to achieve profitability and market share objectives
• Communicate with and motivate employees and customers, resolving issues and initiating corrective action
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment
• Keep open lines of communication with upper management
• Attend mandatory corporate meetings and training sessions
• Stake out accounts, visit customers, monitor competition, and maintain detailed records of all activities
• Develop and maintain inventory control records
• Maintain personnel records and development plans
• Attend mandatory job-related meetings
• Report all safety, production, and inventory issues to management and find ways to prevent a reoccurrence
• Maintain and update product knowledge through sales, marketing, and merchandising training programs
