Job Description
Responsible in ensuring all activities related to purchasing are conducted efficiently, effectively, and timely.
Job Responsibilities:
• Canvass and purchase supplies, equipment and service as required by the different department;
• Shall be responsible for the procurement of food and non-food items.
• Search for possible supplier, negotiate the price, warranty terms, payment terms and other related details;
• Processes and sends purchase orders and dispatch advise to the supplier;
• Assist in the thorough check/search of qualified suppliers and evaluate capabilities;
• Ensure that all Purchasing documents, database records are complete, updated, accurate and proper safekeeping implemented;
• Prepare & control sales quotation;
• Ensure that internal and external customers’ request are attended to promptly;
• Performing vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reducing operating costs and boosting efficiency
• Maintaining cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities
• Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase records
• Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies
Qualifications & Skills:
• Candidate must be a graduate of 4 year course, possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Candidates must have 2 years experience in Purchasing position in any reputable company.
• Candidates must be reliable and honest towards work.
• Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft-related softwares such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
• Candidates must be able to provide enough resources in looking for Suppliers.
• Candidates must be able to communicate and deal with different Suppliers.
• Candidates must be willing to work in the office and on the field.
• Flexible to travel to meet with suppliers, distributors and manufacturers as required
• Willing to be assigned in Deparo, Caloocan City
