Job Description
-Ordering necessary diagnostic tests, such as blood work or diagnostic imaging
-Making informed diagnoses based on the findings of exams and tests
-Recommending treatments to ease symptoms, manage chronic conditions or cure illnesses
-Educating patients about self-care and lifestyle changes that can contribute to the success of a treatment
-Monitoring patients’ ongoing conditions and adjusting treatment plans as needed
-Supervising and coaching other members of the care team to coordinate care for patients
-Updating patient medical records and ensuring that medical information is accurate and kept private
