Job Description

An air conditioning technician's job description includes installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and equipment. They may also perform other tasks such as:
Diagnosing faults and recording malfunctions
Drilling holes and mounting brackets
Cutting, threading, and bending piping
Checking for leaks using fluids or gases
Testing and adjusting systems
Welding, soldering, brazing, or bolting pipes
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and OSHA
Performing warranty services
Performing emergency repairs
