Job Description

A key account manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and growing a company's most important accounts and clients. Their responsibilities include:
Building relationships: Developing strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
Growing revenue: Creating strategies to help the company grow revenue
Identifying high-value clients: Identifying clients with the highest value to the company
Researching market trends: Researching market trends to help generate more sales
Preparing reports: Preparing and presenting regular reports to internal and external stakeholders
Developing long-term strategies: Developing long-term strategies for client retention and making plans to implement them
Addressing issues: Ensuring that all issues are addressed quickly and effectively
KAMs focus on a smaller number of high-value clients, while account managers typically handle a large number of accounts.
