Job Description
Primary responsible for setting up, administering, and maintaining the company's database, utilizing database software and other file systems which store company's data.
Responsible for the design, installation, configuration, capacity planning, migration, performance monitoring, enforcing DB security, troubleshooting, and backup/data recovery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or a related field
2. Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in different Database environments, i.e., Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, Informix, RDBMS
3. Knowledgeable in database information security concepts
4. Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences
5. Highly technical knowledge and analytical abilities
6. Strong oral and written communication skills
7. Problem analysis and solving abilities
8. Attention to details
9. Must possess the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multi-task workload.
