Music Teacher (Preschool)

JOB SUMMARY
The Music Teacher instructs students in practical methods and theory of general music, singing, as well as playing musical instruments in an enjoyable environment to inspire young minds and help them grow in appreciation of music.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching general styles in music
Teaching classical piano, practical, and theory
Provide singing lessons to kids from beginner to advanced level
Incorporating the use of musical instruments and movements in lessons
Plan and implement a program of instructions and lesson plans
Prepare students for school concerts and planned music experiences
Prepare students for practicals and exams
Inspire and motivate students to extend themselves to after school music programs
Building relationships and mentoring students

QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience as a Music Teacher
A patient, resourceful, and resilient personality
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Music
With Montessori curriculum training or willing to undergo training

Valid NBI Clearance
Recent Police Clearance
Reference Letter from previous employers or Certificate of Employment
Medical Certificate - Fit to Work Certificate from a reputable diagnostic clinic
Willing to undergo a background check and provide all the details needed
