Job Description

Job Description:
• Layout Artist determines the ideal layout for printed foils and packaging.
• Ensure that text and images, sizes, and color details are correct based on the requirements of the clients.
• Work with clients, brief and advise them with regard to design style, format, print production, and timescales. Developing concepts, graphics, and layouts for product layouts, company logos, and more. Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
• Regular coordination with the printing department regarding new and old layouts, packing lists, and more.
• Filing of documents such as Layout Files, Job Orders, Packing List, etc.
• Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, type size, and style and submitting them for approval.
• Communicate and coordinate with the sales team and clients about layout and design.
• Regular communication and discussion with the inventory planner and production planner in order to have a smooth and timely process.
• Making and maintaining a systematic and organized file of the designs/artworks, both physical filling and software filing.
• Compliance with procedures, guidelines, and policies and perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
• Maintenance and updating of the company’s website and other social media platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:
• At least College Level but familiar or with knowledge in graphic and layout designing.
• At least 1 to 2 years of related work experience as a Layout artist.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle customer queries and provide prompt assistance.
• Ability to make decisions and evaluations to determine the needs of the customers.
• Software Knowledge Requirements: Corel Draw / MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) / Google Chrome
• Application Knowledge Requirements: Adobe Suite / Photoshop / Illustrator
• Industry Knowledge Requirements: Video Editing / Website Development / Graphic Design/logo Design / Photo Editing / Social Media
