Job Description
Perform routine checks on vehicle functionality (e.g., fuel, oil, brakes, tires) and ensure regular maintenance.
Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery or arrival, taking into account traffic, weather conditions, and possible delays.
Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary, ensuring that cargo is secure and follows weight limits and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, delivery confirmations, and other relevant information.
Coordinate with dispatchers, customers, or supervisors to provide updates on routes, delays, or any issues encountered.
Deliver products, verify orders, collect payments, and handle returns or exchanges.
Be prepared to handle unexpected issues such as breakdowns, accidents, or changes in schedule.
