Job Description
Reviewing budget performance reports, analyzing the variances between approved budgets and actual expenditures, and promptly reporting any significant discrepancies to the Supervisor and Project Manager. Additionally, the role involves contributing to project-level monitoring, ensuring accurate tracking of financial report due dates, and assisting in the evaluation of budget proposals from implementing partners to verify that budget line items and unit costs align with prevailing market rates. The successful applicant will also draft donor financial reports for projects in Iraq, ensuring compliance with IOM regulations and established procedures.
Education:
• University degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related filed from accredited academic institution with 4 years of relevant professional experience
Experience:
• Experience in Excel, such as using power query and power pivot, creating dashboards and interactive reports
• Experience in financial management, Donor requirements, budget monitoring, cash management and internal control procedures.
• Experience in data analysis and report writing required
