Role Description:
The Sales and Marketing Specialist will be responsible for promoting our products/services and generating sales leads. This role requires a proactive approach to identify and engage potential clients, build relationships, and contribute to our marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, cold calling, and social media outreach.
Sales Presentations: Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of products/services.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and foster long-term partnerships.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
Promotional Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement promotional campaigns across various channels (digital, print, events).
Sales Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and lead progress.
Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data and marketing campaign effectiveness to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.
Networking: Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products/services and connect with potential clients.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as product development and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and marketing.
Training and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and marketing techniques to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, marketing initiatives, and client feedback to management.
Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics as established by management.
Qualifications:
College degree preferred; a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in sales and marketing or in relevant industry.
Familiarity with sales techniques and marketing strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging clients and presenting information clearly.
Strong relationship-building skills to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
Ability to negotiate terms and close deals effectively.
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs.
Computer Literate and Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, set goals, and manage time effectively.
Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to address client needs and concerns.
