Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
• CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Plan for, budget, and supervise construction projects from start to finish. Coordinate and supervise various construction projects, which includes the building of all types of public residential, commercial, and industrial structures in addition to roads, memorials, and bridges.

1. Maintain construction file and update notes on project files.
2. Manage project execution to ensure budget and schedule compliance.
3. Coordinate and perform actual construction work on sites.
4. Manage all aspects of the CONSTRUCTION: pre, during and post.
5. Provide accurate status information on the progress to project management group (PMG).
6. Attend and participate in all safety meetings and training.
7. Obtain approval and documentation of field and design modifications, coordinated to PMG.
8. Able to oversee 4-5 projects simultaneously.
9. Report any and all injuries, accidents, and/or incidents immediate HEAD.
10. Lead a team of program managers and support personnel.
11. Inspect areas to determine new construction, repair and maintenance needs.
12. Coordinate plans, specs, and bids to PMG to finalize subcontractor scopes.
13. Order building materials, manage community assets and site budgets.
14. Provide continuous improvement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety.
15. Educate site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
16. Perform all project management duties as required per project and project team.
17. Prepare regular interval progress reports as required by the project.
18. Ensure purchase orders are sent in a timely manner.
19. Provide detailed project cost reporting, scheduling, vendor coordination, etc.
20. Reconcile total project budget(s) with all project related costs.
21. Responsible for the training, development, and performance management of staff.
22. Ensure associates and subcontractors are following company safety standards.

• PLANT
Will act as an Assistant Plant Head, will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.
1. Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’
expectations
2. Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
3. Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
4. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
5. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
6. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions

7. Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
8. Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
9. Commit to plant safety procedures
10. Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
11. Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements
12. Influence and learn from below
13. Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
14. Provide reports and update to Operations & Plant Head.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification
• Licensed Civil Engineer
Experience
• Must have at least 5 years of work experience in various construction projects, with exposure in managing and supervision projects related to the biggest clients in the country
• With at least 5 years of on-the-job experience in a similar role.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Contract Conditions, Health and Safety Regulations, Standard Guidelines and Specifications, Local Authorities Requirements for construction projects.
• Must have precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural, and Structural areas.
• Work experience must be related to construction projects such as, but not limited to roads, bridges, ports, dams, buildings, etc.
