Job Description
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Oversee compliance with EFPS BIR system and tax regulations.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Communicate financial matters to clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on tax law and regulation changes.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or any related field.
- Minimum (3) years of bookkeeping experience
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant, preferably in realty or leasing.
- Proficiency in EFBS BIR system
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office application especially in Excel.
