Staff Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for Staff Engineer with expertise in metal stamping products and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our metal stamping processes and products consistently meet quality standards and customer specifications. You will collaborate with various teams to drive quality improvements, perform inspections, and resolve quality-related issues effectively.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
• Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for metal stamping processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure precise understanding of design requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
• Process Evaluation: Conduct audits and assessments of metal stamping processes to identify areas of non-compliance and potential improvements. Provide feedback and recommendations based on findings.
• Inspection and Testing: Lead the development and execution of inspection plans using appropriate measurement tools and techniques to validate product quality at various stages of the manufacturing process.
• Root Cause Analysis: Utilize problem-solving methodologies such as root cause analysis, 8D problem-solving, etc. to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including administration, production, and metal stamping department, to identify and implement process improvements and best practices related to quality assurance in metal stamping.
• Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier performance regarding quality standards. Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure adherence to specifications and requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality inspections, tests, and corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management that outline quality performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
• Training and Development: Provide training and mentorship to team members and production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and the importance of adhering to product specifications.
• Compliance with the Management System ( ISO 9001:2015 , ISO 14001:2015 , ISO 45001: 2018 , RBA Code of Conduct).

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
• With experience in the same field

Skills and Abilities:
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and plan, and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies
• with inspection techniques and measurement tools specific to metal stamping.
• Software Proficiency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
