Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse (OR Nurse) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality perioperative care to patients, collaborate with surgical teams, and ensure adherence to the best practices in healthcare. This position is ideal for a professional nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Prepare and maintain operating rooms and surgical equipment according to sterile techniques.
Assist surgical teams during operations by ensuring the availability of necessary instruments and supplies.
Monitor patient vitals and ensure their safety throughout surgical procedures.
Develop and implement individualized perioperative nursing care plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using systems such as eHospital and PatientTrak.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Stay updated on best practices, healthcare regulations, and advancements in perioperative nursing.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Registered Nurse).
Certification: Operating Room Nurse Certification (CNOR) is highly preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in perioperative nursing.
Technical Knowledge:
Exceptional knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile techniques.
Proficiency in recordkeeping and patient management systems.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge of perioperative nursing care plans.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with surgical teams and healthcare specialists.
