PART TIME IN-HOUSE WRITER

Job Summary:
The In-House Writer will be responsible for creating written content across a range of formats, video scripts, thumbnails, social media descriptions and more. This role requires strong storytelling abilities, a keen understanding of audience needs, and the versatility to adapt the tone and style to fit different types of projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with the creative and marketing teams to produce content that aligns with company objectives and effectively engages our audience.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for a variety of content types, including social media posts, video scripts, and other marketing materials. Must also develop narratives that resonate with target audiences, ensuring that the company’s voice is consistent across all platforms and touchpoints.
Ideation and Collaboration: Partner with content strategist, director, and the entire creative team to brainstorm, outline, and refine scripts and content ideas. Must also have open-mindedness to adapt writing style based on feedback from team leads to meet project goals and enhance overall content quality.
Research and Optimization: Conduct research on current social media industry trends, audience preferences, and relevant topics to ensure accuracy and relevance, and ensure engagement across all written content.
Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit copy for grammar, spelling, style, and tone consistency, ensuring a high standard of quality in all published materials. Must also follow deadlines, and be able to write several scripts at the same time.
