Today, the Cabuyao plant is producing industrial paints for automotive, appliances, coils, motorcycles and other related industries. NPP also manufactures auto refinishes, and varnishes. Job Description

• Performs product development activities & formulations of newly developed products in accordance with set formula guidelines, use of approved raw materials and RMCC.
• Provides production support for the newly developed products during first production batch and makes necessary formula modifications based on the results.
• Performs color matching job and make sure that the color matching formula is confirmed before finalization.
• Conducts formula evaluation for modification based on Production/QC's request or customer's feedback.
• Conducts raw material evaluation as new raw materials or substitutes for cost reduction purposes, product improvement or as an alternative material.
• Conducts study on how to utilize non- moving or slow moving raw material and products with due consideration to quality and performance.
• Conducts special project activities such as seminars and preparation of seminar materials and product orientation.
• Coordinates with concerned parties on matters related to activities and assignments.
• Prepares technical report on every project accomplished and monthly report for the summary of activities for the month.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of bachelor's degree in chemistry.
• Must be a Licensed Chemist
• With at least 1 year experience in Paint or Coating Industry.
• Must have knowledge in Paint Technology
• Must have strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Must have good written and oral communication skills
• Must passed Color Vision Test
