Job Description

A production helper's job is to assist production workers in a factory by performing a variety of tasks, including:
- Operating equipment: Loading machines with raw materials, feeding machines, and lubricating machines
- Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the production area clean and organized, and removing debris
- Measuring ingredients: Measuring ingredients and dumping them into machines
- Checking quality: Checking products and packaging for defects
- Assisting with process control: Helping process control and machine operators with their duties
- Transporting materials: Moving raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials around the plant and warehouse
- Packing goods: Removing filled containers from conveyors and packing goods into bags, boxes, or other containers
