Job Description
Diagnose and resolve complex issues with various kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and more.
Perform advanced repairs on electrical, mechanical, and gas-powered components.
Utilize technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to pinpoint the root cause of malfunctions.
Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and other facilities to identify potential issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
Installation:
Set up and configure new kitchen appliances, ensuring proper connections and operation.
May assist with the installation of new kitchens or equipment upgrades.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, and performance reports.
Generate regular reports for management, summarizing key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Training and Development:
May provide training and development opportunities for other technicians, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
Stay informed about industry advancements and share relevant information with the team.
Safety Oversight:
Implement and enforce safety protocols within the maintenance department to create a secure working environment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
