- The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) was created through Executive Order No. 272 (E.O.272), which directs the transfer of the Community Mortgage Program (CMP), Abot Kaya Pabahay Fund (AKPF) Program, and other social housing powers and functions of the National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation to the SHFC. Under E.O. 272, the SHFC shall be the lead government agency to undertake social housing programs that will cater to the formal and informal sectors in the low-income bracket and shall take charge of developing and administering social housing program schemes, particularly the CMP and the AKPF Program (amortization support program and development financing program).

Job Description
DEPARTMENT: Program Development and Enhancement Group
CLASSIFICATION: Plantilla Position
SALARY: SG 18 (P48,830)
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferably major in Accounting or Accounting-related;
EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of relevant work experience
TRAINING: At least 8 hours of relevant training
SCOPE OF WORK:
1. Supervises the preparation and review of monthly premium remittance reports, disbursement vouchers with supporting documents/computations,
and schedules for prepayment and renewal of MRI/Fire premiums to protect our mortgages against death of beneficiaries and/or damages brought by fire
and/or lightning;
2. Ensures that all accounts for exclusion from MRI/Fire renewal coverage are properly deducted from premium remittance reports;
3. Checks computation of over/under payment of premium due to full payment of loan, expiry of term, death, restructuring, and adjusted loan values for
refund or collection from the borrower upon mortgage withdrawal;
4. Oversees the immediate settlement of claims;
5. Ensures and monitors preparation of periodical status reports on premium remittances, claims/settlements, and the team's accomplishments;
6. Recommends systems upgrade/changes significant to the improvement of the Department's output;
7. Addresses and suggests possible solutions to issues and concerns encountered daily;
8. Reviews existing policies and recommends revisions/updates to adapt to new SHFC programs/projects;
9. Attends meetings relative to insurance matters; and
10. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the Immediate Superior.
