Job Description
HEAD OFFICE LOCATION: Makati
SALARY RANGE: ₱22,000 - ₱25,000
A Crewing Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the crewing department in a maritime or shipping company; Assisting with the coordination and management of crew members, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining accurate records related to crew assignments, certifications, and training.
JOB DETAILS:
- Must be below 45 years of age
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or Management
- With 1-2 years of work experience in Crew Documentation and/or Dispatch
- Direct experience in Crewing Operations involving coordinating crew assignments, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations
- In-depth knowledge of the industry in which they operate, such as maritime, aviation, or oil and gas
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with process improvement tools and technologies
- Experience with process mapping software
- Understanding industry regulations, standards, and specific requirements related to Crewing
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with crew members, management, and other departments
- Ability to conduct briefings, handle crew concerns, and facilitate clear communication
- Strong organizational skills to manage crew schedules, documentation, and various administrative tasks efficiently
- Ability to handle unexpected challenges, emergencies, and incidents involving crew members with a calm and effective approach
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to critically evaluate complex processes and systems
- Preferably with experience in Maritime Industry
- Willing to start ASAP. Preferably Unemployed or Currently handing-over duties/responsibilities to current employer
