The Job

The Product Analyst will evaluate our financing products and compare them against competitor offerings in the fintech space. You'll analyze merchant portfolio performance and align our products with market trends and demand. A key element of this role is the effective use of SQL and Excel to provide timely results and actionable recommendations. Success in this role is demonstrated by improving merchant satisfaction and meeting or exceeding performance targets for our financing products.

Your Day-to-Day:

Analyze merchant portfolio data and financing product performance
Conduct market research and gather merchant feedback
Evaluate products and forecast performance across different merchant segments
Provide recommendations on product improvements and launch strategies
Generate reports and presentations on findings for stakeholders
Monitor product performance and suggest optimizations
Analyze market data, trends, merchant and customer behaviors
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements
Assist in defining product requirements and creating user stories
Conduct user acceptance testing for new features
Visit merchant locations and interview customers

The Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field
1-2+ years of experience in product analysis, preferably in fintech or e-commerce
Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with data visualization tools is a plus (not required)
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
Understanding of financial products and merchant services is beneficial
