Laboratory Technician - 17k (Cebu)

The Laboratory Technician - Cosmetic reports to the Technical Director and is responsible for the following:

Ensuring prototypes and formulations are prepared as instructed by the Application Executive to support the Sales Team in promoting our raw materials. Conducting stability tests for developed prototypes to establish standard formulations. Preparing and maintaining all documents necessary for the development of formulations.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepares prototypes based on formulations provided by the immediate superior or independently formulated from customer or sales agent requirements and specifications, or as initiated by the immediate superior.

2. Conducts stability tests.

3. Assists in providing technical training to all sales personnel, including lab training and product training.

4. Assists in providing technical/basic training to clients, including presentations and lab training.

5. Maintains cleanliness in the laboratory.

6. Monitors raw material inventory for prototypes.

7. Monitors packaging materials inventory for prototypes.

8. Attends internal and external technical training provided by suppliers.

9. Performs tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or Pharmacy.
• At least 2-3 years of related work experience is preferred.

Skills:
• Knowledgeable about laboratory equipment and documentation.
• Knowledgeable about laboratory testing.
• Computer literate
• Experience in documentation
• Hygienic
• Organized
• Reliable
• Strong time management skills
• Must be able to speak the native language (Hiligaynon), Tagalog, and English (required).

Monthly Salary:
• 15,000 - 17,000
• Negotiable based on the applicant's skill set.

Location:
• Cebu City
• Preferred candidates should live near the working location

Work Schedule & Set-up:
• Full-time, on-site (Day shift)
• Monday to Friday (8-hour shift), from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Trainings: Will be advised regarding orientation and laboratory training.
